Valencia Basket begins the 2017-18 Endesa League visiting the court of Real Betis E.Plus

Valencia Basket tips off the season 2017-18 of the Endesa League by visiting the Real Betis Energy Plus’s court (Sunday 1, 12: 30h, San Pablo, Movistar Deportes 2) just eight days after winning their third national title with their win in the Endesa Super Cup. Regarding the final of that tournament, the Taronja squad adds two more injuries (those of Antoine Diot and Fernando San Emeterio) to the absences that already had then of Abalde and Latavious Williams, reason why will arrive at Seville with four injured players, ten pro players after the arrival to the team of Sam Van Rossom and the support of young players Puerto and Hlinason.

 

Starting the league away for the fifth consecutive season, the Taronja squad will try to extend their good dynamics both starting away from Fonteta (two successes in a row) and Real Betis (two victories in their last two visits). On the day that Sam Van Rossom will use again his Taronja jersey after committing to Valencia Basket last Sunday, Montenegrin center Bojan Dubljevic can add his 274th game with the Valencia Basket jersey, which would equal Berni Álvarez in the fifth position of the historical classification of games played with the Club.
